What will you do
- You will be a part of the machine learning engineering team which transforms AI research into the production environment
- Develop algorithms and models that work on large-scale data in real-time, running on hundreds of CPUs and terabytes of RAM
- Brainstorm with other team members on progressive ideas of implementing real-world challenges
- Combine machine learning and AI with computer science to deliver computationally efficient and elegantly designed algorithms
Requirements
- Complex analytical thinking and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms
- Proficient in Python and data-science related packages (numpy, scipy, torch, pandas/polars, transformers)
- Solid grasp of SQL
- Familiarity with Linux and version control systems (Git)
- English language on communication level
- Passion for writing well-structured and clean code
- Eagerness to continuously acquire new skills and information
- Foundational understanding of recommender systems
Advantages
- Familiarity with Cython, writing C/C++ Python bindings
- Awareness of Python performance caveats (GIL), general multithreading concepts
- Foundational understanding of networking and distributed systems
- Understanding of software design patterns
- Previous involvement with AI-assisted development
- Background working with nearly-realtime applications
